I hate making blog titles.
My name is AmandaPaige and my birthday is usually on Thanksgiving weekend. This year it happens to fall on the Sunday after Turkey Day.
I am bolding all thing important to me in this blog because it is my blog and I can. :)
I obsessively watch Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The thing that keeps me going each day is dance. I like to break out in song often, it is usually in hushed tone unless I am alone.
I don't like "Vintage Shops" because they are often overpriced when I can just go to Salvation Army or Goodwill and find better things for a couple of dollars. Thrift Stores and yard sales at Senior citizen homes are where I find some of my favorite things. I am terrified to cut my hair because I enjoy my long hair very much and I think whoever is cutting it will sneeze or something during the process and chop it all off.
As cliche as is sounds New York City is where I honestly feel like I belong. I went in March and fell even deeper in love than I was before. That is the most amazing place in the world. At this moment in time, I am seriously considering becoming a pharmacist. I think it seems really interesting.
While other girls have pictures of the Jonas Brothers and Twilight on their folder I have Seth Meyers and the cast of SVU. I grew up watching Saturday Night Live and still do. Weekend Update is my favorite segment of the entire show so Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Seth Meyers are idols to me.
Oh and I like Hot Hot Heat a great deal. Got into them in '05?, yeah I think that was the year. Someone burned me a copy of Elevator saying I needed to listen to it and I did and I fell in love. Hot Hot Heat also brought me De Novo Dahl, for which I am insanely grateful for. The bassists that I fell in love with for both bands left though. Hot Hot Heat has brought me the friendships of many great people. No one understands my love for this band and all it's brought me but I'm alright with that.
